Hey Loves!
So makeup is NOT my forte… but I love it. I love to experiment with makeup, and make myself look different. I have learnt a LOT of tricks over the years as a wardrobe stylist, from my lovely makeup artist friends.
Although I am not as fabulous as them and never will be, I wanted to start documenting some of my makeup looks and start to experiment with you.
Look 1… I am going El Natural… basically because I have NO clue what I am doing.
Here are the products I used:
BASE:
FOUNDATION: CHANEL – PERFECTION LUMIÈRE #40 BRUSH: REAL TECHNIQUES – EXPERT FACE BRUSH
BRONZE:
BRONZE: CHANEL – LES BEIGES #40 BRUSH: REAL TECHNIQUES – BLUSH BRUSH
BROWS:
PENCIL: MAC – SPIKED SPOOLIE: N/A
LIPS:
LIPSTICK: CHANEL – ROUGE ALLUE 108
RESULTS:
A ‘natural’ glow.

Hello Loves!
This week I have been rocking and LOVING the Ciaté London Mini Manor colour ‘Talent Scout’.
Not only do I love the name…It is this amazing purple that really seems to change its intensity in different lights… it can be really bright or deep purple… weird!
Anyway I love it!
However I have found that with the flat colours (none sparkle) they are very streaky, and I will list the colours I didn’t like in a future blog post… rant over… enjoy the pics.

Hello loves!
So it’s week two of my Ciaté London Mini Manor 2014 blog post.
This week I decided to use two colors… you know being all trendy at that!
These nails make me feel like a sparkly Barbie, using ‘Mineral Love’ and ‘Strawberry Milkshake’…. YUM!
Enjoy the pics… BTW sorry about the bad paint’man’ ship.

Hello my loves!
This morning I finally received my shipment from Zara. I have been DREAMING about these shoes, well the Saint Laurent version… but what a dupe! What a bargain!
These Zara glitter booties are such a staple in my closet already… and it’s only day one!
How perfect are they! Wear with Jeans, leggings, skirts, dresses ANYTHING!!
Here are some pics of my outfit of the day!
They can be ordered here: http://www.zara.com/ca/en/sale/woman/shoes/glitter-booties-c541568p2381517.html
TIPS:
– Comfort level 8
– The glitter stays on
– No grip on sole so can be slippy
– They had sold out of most sizes, I am a small 7 but ordered a 6 1/2, they fit perfectly
Happy shopping

Outfit details:
Top: Forever 21
Jeans: Aeropostal
Shoes: Zara
I was lucky enough to receive the Ciaté London Mini Manor 2014 calendar as a Christmas present… it’s a NAIL POLISH ADVENT CALENDAR!!!
What’s included? 24 GOSH DARN AMAZING NAIL POLISHES!
I love the Ciaté calendars as it’s a way to try different nail polishes without forking out an absolute fortune.
However just a note they do usually retail in Canada for about $75… which cheaper than buying all the colours. But is still an expense … so here’s a hint … if you wait until after Christmas, this set is dramatically reduced, you can get them as cheap as $25!!!
Anyway I have decided that every Friday I am going to do a swatch… I am going to paint my nails my fav colour of the week.
This week its:
ESPADRILLES, it’s a stunning ruby red. Perfect for the snowy time… it makes me feel all wintery and Dorothy like. We’re not in Kansas anymore!

I’M BACK!
Well it’s the first Monday of 2015, which means for most of you it’s back to the daily work grind. For me being self employed, this means attempting to get my chocolate and turkey filled butt to the gym!
I admit I am NOT a gym rat… in fact I hate it! I am envious of people that love the gym.
Yoga = hate it gives me a headache
Running = apparently I have a weird run
Swimming = I might drown
Anyway 2015 is my year to turn myself into a definite GYM RAT.
Day one:
Well my progress so far is my outfit… got that sorted!
TOP: FOREVER 21
PANTS: NIKE
SHOES: NIKE
DRINK: EVERYTHING

I am so sorry I have been MIA… however my life has taken over … SUCKY! I do hope to get back into the spirit of writing as I was loving it.
But just a little update I am currently in Chicago and LOVING it… I mean who doesn’t love Chicago???
So as I am in Chicago I thought I would let you into my TOP 5 things to do while your in the windy city.
1. BILLY GOAT TAVERN
The famous Billy Goat Tarvern is DEFINITELY a place you have to go. Established in 1934 this place has seen it all. So take it from me YOU GOTTA EAT HERE… oh and order a double double.
2. CLOUD GATE
Cloud Gate or as I (and many many others) like to call it ‘The Bean’. Is just a really cool sculpture by Anish Kapoor’s located in Millennium park. Great place to take some ‘selfies’.
3. NAVY PIER
It’s hot, it’s summer, you want a beer or a margarita? Head to Navy Pier located right on the water (obviously) this place has some serious people watching and guess what! You can walk around with a drink… epic!
4. JOHN HANCOCK OBSERVATORY
You can’t go to the city and not see the city from the sky. The 360 views at the John Hancock building are unreal… and if you dare try the TILT. Which is basically a glass window which you stand in and it TILT’s to scare the crap out of you. AWESOME.
5. MAGNIFICENT MILE
Or MAG MILE as ‘us’ Chicagoan’s say, is the PERFECT place to get your shop on… stuffed with high street names such as TopShop and High ends names such as Burberry… this mile of shopping has something for everyone!
Hopefully you are heading to Chicago at some point and if not… set a date! You will love it.
