So for most of you you know that Father’s Day is this Sunday June 15th, for others this is a massive reminder!

But if you are like me, then you haven’t got your gift yet. I thought I would help out… here is a last minute DIY gift ideas for you!

1. Photo Album

You can now get images printed really quickly… in fact on the Walmart website you can upload your images on line and pick them up in an hour… then all you need is an album and a little bit of time.

2. BBQ

Research some BBQ sauce recipes and make some up, put in a cute mason jar and their ready for your dad to get his grill on.

3. Beer Cake

If your of legal age, then you can grab this one for your Dad. Instead of giving him a 12 pack make it a decorative 12 pack.

4. Gift Box

Make your Dad a gift box of all his fav things!… e.g cheese box, blu ray box, bbq box, aftershave box.

5. Key hook

I am sure you have wine corks lying around, turn those corks into something decorative for Dad… simply glue the corks together then screw in some hooks… finished!

Happy Father’s Day!

It’s… Friday Friday

It's... Friday Friday

In the words of Rebecca Black ‘It’s Friday’ night …and a lot of you are probably going out on the town. But remember it’s summer, dressing shouldn’t be as difficult…. there is no need for layering or heavy garments and accessories.

Try a simpler approach this summer… a cute little dress is easy to throw on with a great pair of your fav sky high heels.

If you walk like a penguin in heels … then flats are ok too! Summer is the prefect time to throw on a cute pair of flat pumps or oxford shoes. Pair this with a cute tap short, and maybe a crop top and you are ready for dinner and dancing!

But remember the MOST IMPORTANT thing about getting dressed is…. feeling confident! You are HOT honey!

Have fun and be safe

Throw it back

Throw it back

In honor of Thursday I decided to … ‘throw it back’. However I am not going so far into the past, I am heading back to last Wednesday to be exact.

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of working with local Hamilton band ‘The Arkells’. However this time I wasn’t in charge of wardrobe, I was acting alongside some great peeps, for The Arkells much music promo.

For the promo I got to flaunt myself in scantily clad clothing…. actually I better save all the info to myself (otherwise Director Amit Dabrai might kill me), you guys will just have to watch it for your self. Keep your eyes peeled!

If you haven’t heard of The Arkells then you have probably been living under a rock. Go and check out some of their music perfect for these sunny days!

Dinner in the SUN

Dinner in the SUN

It’s hot out today… and getting distracted by Pinterest (as usual), is making me think about the perfect summer dinner.

Pinterest is always full of deliciously looking images, however although my replica’s never look the same they do end up pretty tasty.

Today an image that caught my eye was the summer peach and balsamic pizza (pictured above).

Below is the recipe, maybe you could make it too! It would be like one big internet dinner.

1 batch pizza dough
1 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced or grated
2 ounces soft goat cheese, crumbled
4 peaches, pitted and thinly sliced
1/2 cup coarsely chopped basil

To prepare the balsamic reduction, pour balsamic vinegar into a small saucepan, bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until the vinegar has reduced to 1/4 cup, about 20 minutes. Set aside and let cool.

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F or as high as your oven will go. If you have a pizza stone, preheat the stone in the oven for at least 30 minutes to allow it to get thoroughly hot.

Divide dough into tennis-ball sized pieces. Take one piece of dough and punch it down on a lightly floured surface. Roll the dough out into a circle approximately 1/4-inch thin. Place the pizza on a pizza peel or pan that has been generously coated with corn meal. Lightly brush with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Top with mozzarella, goat cheese, and peach slices. Drizzle the pizza with balsamic reduction. Repeat for remaining pizzas.

Place the pizza in the oven-directly on the pizza stone, if using one, or on the oven rack. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until pizza crust is golden and cheese is melted. Remove from oven and top with basil and drizzle with balsamic reduction. Cut into slices and serve.

Doesn’t seem all that difficult …

Anyway enjoy your dinner in the sun… I’ll be enjoying mine!

Belly Baring

Belly Baring

Attention all my belly baring divas!

The crop top is still relevant this summer.

Your wearing them… your seeing them in every store, on every celebrity… everywhere!

There is no escaping the crop top again this summer, and why would you?

There are so many different styles of crop tops to get your hands on this season, from showing it all off, to giving just a hint.

Dressing it up with a slim fit skirt, or wearing it everyday with a pair of shorts. It is easy to mix crop tops into your summer wardrobe.

Be confident!
